Sanguis

Sanguis is an inky font inspired by medieval handwriting.

This project began in 2018 with the initial build of Sanguis developed and used internally for the Skyblivion project, then later released independently in 2020 as a font replacement mod for Skyrim. It is inspired by the title font of Oblivion and designed by hand using FontForge supporting 6 languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Italian). The numerals are based on Kingthings Petrock Bold.

This standalone release celebrates 5 years of serving creatives in the Elder Scrolls community with an updated SIL OFL V1.1 license without a reserved font name to ensure it can be freely forked, distributed, upgraded, and expanded upon by anyone in the years to come under the same license.
